In 2019 I was invited on a two-month residency in Malibu with renowned children’s author and illustrator Cornelia Funke. This fertile creative environment inspired deep friendships as well as new paintings, stories, and illustrations. BELONGING celebrates the art created through Cornelia's artist in residence programme in Malibu and Tuscany.
